15 年輝煌！Tim Cook 宣布9月卸任 Apple CEO 職位由 John Ternus 接任

・Tim Cook 宣告將卸任 CEO： 服務 Apple 15 年的 CEO Tim Cook 將於 9 月卸任轉任執行董事長。現任硬體工程副總總裁 John Ternus 將成為 Apple 新任 CEO。

即便 Tim Cook 對於卸任或是退休的傳言始終不肯鬆口，但隨著 Apple 近幾年高層接連的退休卸任（當然還有一些人跳槽），相信大部分人都早就嗅到了這樣的可能性已越來越大。

今天，Apple 執行長 Tim Cook 選在了 WWDC26 前夕宣布將卸下蘋果執行長的職位，並由被外界視為接班當然人選的現任硬體工程資深副總裁 John Ternus 接下這個重要的職位。

在人事案預計將會生效的 2026 年 9 月 1 日後，Tim Cook 將轉任 Apple 董事會執行董事長。在此之前，則是會繼續與 John Ternus 合作，協助確保交接順利。就 Apple 新聞稿的說法，這個過渡計劃已獲得董事會一致通過。

在這項重大的人士宣布裡，Apple 也回顧了 Tim Cook 自 1998 年加入 Apple 至今 18 年來的輝煌成就。包括監督包括 Apple Watch 、 AirPods 與 Apple Vision Pro 等新產品系列的推出，服務方面更是包含了許多果粉所熟知且常用的 iCloud 、 Apple Pay 到 Apple TV 與 Apple Music 等服務。

當然一定要提到的是財務數字的增長部分。其中提到，年營收至今幾乎翻了 4 倍！不得不說，Tim Cook 確實為這間公司立下了不少功勞。隨著 Apple 的 50 週年的來到，更是再次強調了該公司一直以來的「不同凡想（Think Different）」精神。

對於蘋果的下一任 CEO John Ternus 是否能延續這樣的精神這點。

Apple 雖然一直沒有明講正在培育下一代接班人。不過自 2001 年就加入 Apple 團隊的 John Ternus 也已經主導了包括 iPhone 17 / 17 Pro 系列與 iPhone Air，以及近期在環保方面有了許多進展的 MacBook Neo 等產品的開發。也早就可以看出 Apple 所謂的過渡計劃，基本上早在這次的人士宣布前就已經開始。

由於 Tim Cook 在蘋果社群方面的影響力確實超乎想像。因此在官方新聞稿之外，他也在 Apple 官網首頁發佈了一篇「致 Apple 社群」的信件。

其中聊到過去 15 年在 Apple 的職涯中的點點滴滴以及對於自己能成為這間公司領導人，為世界激發想像力與豐富人們生活而感到深深感激。在中文新聞稿正式出爐前，我們先列出快速機翻的信件內容供大家參考：

For the past 15 years I’ve started just about every morning the same way. I open my email and I read notes I received the day before from Apple’s users all over the world.

You share little pieces of your lives with me and tell me things you want me to know about how Apple has touched you. About the moment your mom was saved by her Apple Watch. You thank me for the ways Mac has changed what you can do at work and sometimes give me a hard time because something you care about isn’t working like it should.

A new person will be stepping into what I know in my heart is the best job in the world. That leader is John Ternus, a brilliant engineer and thinker who has spent the past 25 years building the Apple products our users love so much, obsessed with every detail, focused on every possible way we can make something better, bolder, more beautiful, and more meaningful. He is the perfect person for the job.

最後當然要提一下筆者的心情囉！即便自己從業的時間沒有 Tim Cook 在 Apple 的職涯這麼長，而且作為科技編輯至今近 15 年的時間，也是到了近幾年才有機會前往 Apple 總部進行採訪 - 雖然有機會看到本人，但也還沒能跟他合照（工作現場真的是太戰鬥了 QQ）。

個人認為，作為 CEO 的 Tim Cook 對於 Apple 的影響力真的完全不亞於樹立了 Apple 精神的 Steve Jobs。以筆者的觀點，Tim Cook 對於 Apple 的影響，最主要是在於承接了 Steve Jobs 的熱情與願景，並以更為理性且永續的思維，將 Apple 帶向了創新與營利等各方面都能均衡的未來。

在此也深深希望與 Steve Jobs 當初卸任的狀態不同，今年 9 月將轉任執行董事長的 Tim Cook 未來一定要繼續在自己所打造的 Apple Watch 等健康功能的協助下，繼續陪著 Apple 走向 100 週年。

是說，這 9 月 1 日的卸任時間點，看來也代表著預計將推出 iPhone Fold 的 iPhone 18 Pro 秋季發表會，這次可能會直接接班給 John Ternus 主導並且讓大家看到新世代 Apple 的面貌；此次的 WWDC26 也許就是大家比較有機會可以看到 Tim Cook 在發表會中上鏡的機會了？
