3月22日星期六，Moto3在卡達商業銀行盃錦標賽(Commercial Bank Grand Prix of Qatar )的排位賽(QP)中，
我們看到了 Alex Rins 以2'05.973的成績拿到杆位(Pole position)，在第一排出發的同時還有他 Estrella Galicia 0,0
的隊友 Alex Marquez 以及Red Bull KTM Ajo車隊的 Jack Miller 。Marquez以0.152秒讓出杆位，其原因有可能是風。與此同時，Miller落後杆位0.4秒。
第二排發車的選手分別為Jakub Kornfeil、Isaac Viñales、Danny Kent。
第三排發車的選手分別為John McPhee、Italians Romano Fenati、 Niccolo Antonelli，Fenati的隊友Francesco Bagnaia為第十位。
Gabriel Ramos、Alexis Masbou 、Zulfahmi Khairuddin都發生轉倒意外，Masbou排位十四，
其他人排名大幅跌到後面。Arthur Sissis 發燒，排位二十九。
